Sheikh Khalifa Hospital Fujairah was established under the initiatives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the late President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and continues to be supported under the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The hospital was founded with the aim of strengthening the UAE’s healthcare infrastructure and delivering services aligned with international standards of excellence.

As part of a broader national healthcare vision, Sheikh Khalifa Hospital Fujairah serves as a key medical hub for the Northern Emirates, significantly reducing the need for patients to travel to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, or abroad for specialized medical care. The hospital plays a vital role in advancing access to world-class healthcare services, supporting the development of UAE nationals as future healthcare leaders, and enhancing overall community health outcomes.

Facilities & Services

Sheikh Khalifa Hospital Fujairah operates 24/7 inpatient and emergency services, with outpatient services available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, and 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Friday.

The hospital is designed as a tertiary care facility with advanced capabilities and scalable capacity to support disaster readiness.
